Our "Baby"

This post is mainly for Kacey and Melanie. I wanted you two to see our new nursery. Shannon and I worked SO hard on it, and I think people really like it!! There are some other pictures of the upstairs for KC.

We miss you Hunter! (and your family)

Tuesday will be 2 months since the Bodes left us. I can't believe it. It feels like 2 years! Emily wanted to write a note to Hunter (I don't remember what for), and asked me how to spell his name. So, I wrote it on a Post-it note and gave it to her. I went into her closet the other day, and saw this.
So, I asked Emily, "What's up with that?" She said, "This is the hat that Hunter wears when we play garden...so I put the note so we know it's his hat." And, there is remains. I know I have a picture of Hunter actually wearing the hat, but here's one with it switched around.

There were happy times, like this one, there were a few times where one or the other wasn't so happy to take a picture, but they always loved each other greatly. We miss you Hunter...Wemowy loves you.

When did this happen?

So, this morning, I checked the weather, and it said it was going to be 91° today. Yes, it's only March. Anyway. So, I decided Emily could wear one of her new short sleeved tops to school. I put it on her, and did her hair, and looked at her. She's not a baby anymore. She's not even a toddler! She's a little girl!! I remember when she relied on me for everything! Now, she's so independent, I don't think she ever needs me. Ok, ok, so I'm going a little overboard. She needs me to do her laundry...cook for her....love her....pray for her....and guide her into growing up to be a sweet Christian young lady. I love you Emily Anne.

I'm DONE!!!

OK, so the name Moix Madness is IT! I hated Moix Meanderings....it was too long and meanderings sounds like a fruit to me. Then, I came up with the great name 'The Moix Ménage'. A ménage is a family unit, PEOPLE!! Grr. Anyway, madness, in it's true definition means, 'intense enthusiasm or excitement', and let me tell you--for my two girls, that is a way of life. So, I hope you enjoy the tales from here on out from our Moix Madness.....sheesh.

Ok, so I know I just posted my first post, but I got to thinking, and this is so cute. We met Matthew and Melanie Bethel when Emily was just 7 months old, and Melanie had JUST found out she was pregnant with Emma. We have been the best of friends since almost the first day we met. It has been so adorable to see our girls grow up together. Take a trip down memory lane with me.

Since then, we have added two more to the mix....I'm sure Savannah and Callie will be as close as Emily and Emma are.

Jumping on the Bandwagon

Soo...everyone is blogging. I don't have anything interesting to say. So? Why blog? Well, THIS way, I can let people just check my blog (that sounds so trendy) to see pictures of my beautiful baby girls. So, there may not be a lot of meanderings (in fact, I'm sure that title will change when I get a little more clever), but there will be pictures of the two most beautiful baby girls in the world!!
