This morning (very early), Emily left with Papa to go to his and Meme's house for 3 weeks. Brian, Savannah and I will be leaving in 3 weeks to go join them for our Summer vacay! I thought she would leave me without a second glance (she is going to Meme's house, after all), but she was actually pretty sad. She will have SO much fun, and I am so glad she can have this opportunity. I am going to miss her...probably not as much as Savannah will, but it's going to be very lonely around here. Quiet....but lonely.

Wow 3 weeks!! How different your home will feel with her gone that long! Don't start counting down the days too soon...it'll just make it go slower.
I hope Emily has a great time!! What fun memories she's making that when she's older she will be so glad to have had this time!
Hey, Jenn! So, Emily is gonna be here with Meme and Papa all to herself! I know she'll have so much fun! And I can't wait to see her! Maybe I'll even steal her away for a day! :) I hope you are coping all right -- I know it will be weird for her to be away, but you KNOW she's in good hands!
I'm so excited for Emily and your parents...what a special time this will be for them! We've been praying 1)for safe travel for her and your dad, 2)for peace for her as she's away from you guys, 3)for you guys as she's away, and 4)for a great and special time for all of you. Love you all!
Jennifer, She looks so big in those pictures. Wow, I'm amazed. Did you cry? I'm not sure I could let mine go for 3 whole weeks. I would be a mess. Enjoy Miss Savannah...she has three weeks to play the only child.
