Pray for mom tomorrow morning. They concluded that her blood was ok (it was too thin before) and she could have her PEG put in tomorrow morning. They will not sedate her for it, so that's good. She will have to keep the nose tube for one more day, then make sure the tube is in there and working properly (approx. 48 hours) so we're hoping she can leave the hospital on Wednesday or Thursday.
The Dr has put in his orders for her to go to a rehabilitation facility for 2 weeks after she leaves the hospital. I think my dad is going to try to convince them to let her come home and receive in home therapy. Pray that whatever needs to be done will be done. I know it would be easier for dad to have mom and my Oma in the same house, but if she needs more care than he can give, then she'll need to go.
Continue to pray for my dad. If you are reading this and are able to take meals to my Oma (usually just a late lunch...around 2), then please contact him and tell him!!! I'll update tomorrow after I get word how her procedure went.
