Back in Texas

Yesterday, we had to come back to Texas. We tease each other about weepy airport scenes. Every time, we promise it's not going to happen, and every year, Emily is crying for Meme all the way through security.

The flight was very good. Savannah fell asleep 30 minutes in, and woke up 30 minutes before landing. Emily slept a little, but mostly just kept herself occupied as the rest of us dozed.

The girls were glad to be home and back in their playroom with all their toys. It was a little hard for them to get used to their beds again, and their brains are still on Eastern Standard Time. We're trying to get back into a routine and deprogram the grandparents mindset. :) (We've already been told, "Meme never spanks me.") We are so grateful that we were able to go, and can't wait to go back!!
