Answered Prayer

**UPDATE**

Mom had a low grade temperature Sunday. She was given medicine and the temp came down. Please pray that there wouldn’t be infection develop that would hinder her complete recovery.

Thanks again for praying. The cards, emails, phone calls and visits have been a real encouragement to us.

I doubt this is very significant, but I read some place that the number “40” in the Bible is used for a period of “probation, testing or trial.” It just so happens that today was the 40th day since she entered the hospital on August 19th. Perhaps God will grant this period of trial be over for her. “God’s Will Be Done.”

Mom has a wound specialist that comes in and changes her "packing" in her stomach. Saturday afternoon, 3 gauze worth of "stuff" had leaked out of mom's stomach. This morning, when she came in, the bandage only had a dime size stain on it. PRAISE THE LORD!! She told my parents that she was going to recommend holding off on the surgery one more day and see what happens.
