“Home, Sweet Home” – a song that has been around for more than a hundred years, but today those words had a special meaning to Linda. SHE CAME HOME TODAY!! Praise the Lord!! We now have a road to recovery to travel and I know there will be some “bumps” in this road. We had one today as we worked at getting Linda’s blood sugar under control. We crossed one hurdle as I gave my ‘first ever’ insulin shot. Linda didn’t even know I gave it to her. Pretty good, huh? Today was a very busy day for both of us and we are tired, but it’s a great blessing to be able to sleep in the same bed together for the first time in 24 days.
I plan to follow up along in the days ahead with some lessons we learned, some people we met and some precious blessings that were ours during this time in our lives.
Thanks again for praying for us and the encouragement you have been over the past three weeks.
