It was cooler this morning, but not cool enough for winter clothes, yet. The girls were pretty excited to be going to church together at their church! Well, Emily was excited about Sunday School, anyway. I'm sure she chattered her way through it. Ms. Elaine was very nice about saying how "excited she was to be back." ha ha
Both of the girls have really bad breakouts with their eczema since going back east. There is something growing out there this time of year that tore them UP! You can see the big red mark on Emily's right arm and all over her legs. Savannah's eyes are the worst breakout she has. I'm going to try to get them an appointment tomorrow to see if there is something I can give them for their itching. No, Benedryl doesn't work, but thanks for the suggestion. :o) I have creams for Vannah, but I'm scared to put things around her eyes. I think she may have a small infection under her left eye. Here is a picture of her looking sad. Pardon the "previously styled for Sunday" hair.
In other news, the Lord provided winter clothes for my girls over the weekend. I appreciate those that HE used (you know who you are). Also, Emily got her first pair of "tie" shoes. Yes, she's almost 6, but I'm lazy and want things done quickly. Needless to say, it took her one try to get it right, and she keeps putting them on to practice.
So, it's back to the grind tomorrow. We have to get back to school and piano practice before her piano teacher thinks we've quit for real! :o) It was SO good to be in the house of the Lord today. I've missed our preacher, our people, and all my friends!!!
