I haven't updated ya'll on the state of Savannah's skin in a long time. When I was in North Carolina, I decided to take her to the chiropractor. It is a hard decision to put your two year old's neck in someone's hands. I trust the chiropractor there. I knew that he would be able to tell me if he could help or not. So, I took Savannah to him for the 2 weeks that we were home. There was significant difference in her skin. Now, I know that not everyone out there believes in chiropractors, but all I can say is what works for us.
I came home, and her skin got really bad again. Especially her face. So, I undertook the mission of finding a chiropractor here that I trust. I quickly realized that it's more expensive here. But, I found one that was willing to see her for a free consultation and thought that at least he could tell me if he could help her.
I took her this morning, and he looked at her and said, "I see what you have going on." So, he adjusted her when we first got there. I was there for about 45 more minutes while he talked to me about supplements and adjustments and (gulp) payment plans. When we left, she already looked better than she did when we got there.
She is on 5 different supplements that I can't even tell you what they are. I mean, I could, but you probably wouldn't have any idea either. :) I am so thankful for the relief that it seems to be giving her. Her allergist is going to be furious at me (he told me that chiropractors couldn't help her), but I have to do what works!! Thank you Lord, for providing some help!!!

It's wonderful that you've found something, whatever it may be, that seems to be helping!
[P.S. There's an award waiting for you over on my blog]
YAY!! How does a chiropractor help with skin? Just wondering, it's very interesting to me!!!
I'm sure you will roll your eyes at me : ) but I did want to tell you about this really nice lotion (you know, since you have never tried anything, ha ha) I have been using on the kids. Both of my kiddos have had very dry skin since we have been here, with both being diagnosed with eczema on their trunks, NOTHING like Vannah's but enough were Hunter scratches himself to a bloody pulp daily. Anyhow, my mom and I were at a craft fair a couple of weeks ago and I started talking to a lady that sells stuff made with goat's milk lotion and soap. I didn't have Ella with me and she started telling me about this guy that she was dating that has a son with Down syndrome and how this lotion was the only thing that healed his cheeks over night (kids with Ds get very chapped cheeks and I was slathering her face with aquaphor at night which would get in her hair and all over her sheets etc) anyhow, this stuff is really nice and not messy! I rub the lotion on both of them when they are fresh out of the tub and then the cream on Ella's face at bedtime. It's called Windrift Hill and it's made in Montana. So, look at if you want or ignore it : ) Just thought I woudl share!!
What wonderful news! Supplements are expensive!! Receiving sweet relief for your little girl relief...priceless!
It just saddens me to hear how many doctors don't believe in it! So many could benefit from it if they did!
I am touched by your interest in Cayman and wish you could have come to her party too! That would be have been so cool!
