Back at the Ranch

I haven't really updated on what's going on here lately. We have been crazy busy.

Brian has started teaching middle school Sunday school at church. He really likes it! I try to help him with the cutting flannel graph and coloring pages. He went to the Dr for a follow up appointment about his blood pressure. I think they determined it was normal, and he just has "white coat hypertension". His cholesterol, however, is a different story. So, we've started eating more leafy veggies and cheerios. Football season has started, and the Razorbacks...well, they started pretty good, but Alabama and Texas kinda put an end to his revelry. The Redskins, however, are 3-1, and 2nd in the NFC East!!

I have been busy with homeschooling and trying to keep the house and kids. Of course, I get a few Starbucks visits in here and there. :o) I spend a lot of time worrying about my mom...I know, I know, worry is a sin. I'm trying, but it's hard to be far away and not being much help.

The girls are doing well. Sorta....Emily got sick last week. I took her to the Dr. because her knee had been hurting, and against my better judgment, I allowed her to play with the toys in the Dr.'s office. Eww. NEVER again. Within 5 days, she had a sore throat and bad cold. Within 5 days, Brian had a horrible chest cold. Withing 3 days, Savannah has an ear infection and chest congestion. SIGH. Let's see....3 out of 4....you know who that leaves, don't you?? I'm refusing to get ill. I don't have the time or the strength. :o)

Here are some pics of how our day got started! Nebulizers are a wonderful thing. Thankfully, Savannah likes to do it. When I turn it off, she gets a little annoyed. Never mind the boy looking pajamas. I went to Children's Place to get some that were on sale, and evidently 24 months is a popular size. They only had 2 pairs in girl colors. To get the sale, I needed to get three. Oh well. She doesn't mind.

Too cute! Thanks for the family update and pictures. By the way, if you thought about it, you could carry a can of Lysol to the Dr.'s office, and you could disinfect the toys. Hahahahaha....

She looks cute in those pj's! Green is a boy or girl color! I know what you mean about everyone getting sick. Andrew had it, gave it to me and I am still trying to get over the ear/sinus infection. It is the 12th day now. I am so sick of it. Seems like Ben is immune from getting sick. He is never sick. He is so lucky. Hope you guys are feeling better and that you don't get it!
