**No Update** Mom and dad don't know anything yet. The surgeon came in this morning and asked mom if she "wanted to have the surgery or wait a couple days and see if it healed on its own" Ummm....who's the Dr? Anyway, he was going to "consult" with the Dr that said she needed it done in the first place and get back to them within the hour. That was 2 hours ago. SO. I'm imagining his schedule is probably full today, so I'm assuming she will be in the hospital for a couple more days, anyway. Her spirits seemed OK this morning. She is frustrated at the seemingly stupidity of the nurses (Two came in to put her IV in....the one that had been in for hours). So, continue praying, and I'll keep you updated!
My mom had a follow up appointment this afternoon with her primary care Dr. He was NOT very happy that her stomach had not been repaired over the weekend. So, regardless of what the Emergency Room Dr called "normal", mom is back in the hospital and is awaiting surgery to get her stomach repaired.
Please, Please, Please pray for my parents. My dad (who is still sick) is very frustrated because mom has been shuffled from doctor's office to ER to hospital room with no pain meds. Pray for my mom who is very terrified of hospitals and especially surgeries. Hey, maybe this breathing tube will knock everything back into place!! We serve a God of miracles!!!
I'll update again when I have news of the time of the surgery.

OMG, who is the doctor is right! I pray that the medical people (you know how I feel about them) figure out what needs to be done!! I also pray that your mom is able to stay calm and not be too nervous! Love you.
