Interesting

I'm the first to admit that I have one of those "trite blogs". I never have anything deep, controversial, or probably interesting to say on here. It's mostly pictures for my family and friends. What I'm about to say isn't less than trite, but it's interesting.

The first thing was a church billboard sign that I saw on the way home. It was Ecclesiastes 10:2

A wise man's heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man's heart directs him toward the left.

Hm!! That's funny. No, I haven't read it in context, but first verse in itself is pointed. :o)

The other thing is in Proverbs. You know how the slogan for Obama is change? Change we can believe in, change we need, change we won't define...blah blah. Well, how does this Proverb describe change?

Proverbs 24:19, 21-22

Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked: My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?

If I were Obama or Biden, I would be worried. :o)

PLEASE don't leave comments about the evils of McCain. I'm not interested in politics. I think they are lame. I know that God is on the throne and nothing will happen that will surprise HIM. I just thought the verses were amusing when linking them to political things.
