Ready For Spring

I haven't blogged in a while because nothing exciting has been happening, and I hate reading blogs about nothing. So, in order to spare you, I have refrained. :)

But, now I have a couple pictures to share, so here we go.

This is the Spy that has no fashion sense. She was being a detective...complete with detective kit and sword. I love watching my girls play with imaginations. It's so fun!

Brian was watching Food Network one afternoon and decided to make me dinner. I asked him what, and he said, "Pepperoni Pizza Soup". Ummm....I was nervous. But, he made it, and it was really good! I was very impressed. It really did taste like pepperoni pizza!!!

The housing management company here at Sheppard occasionally puts on little things for the kids to do. On St. Patricks Day, they had a "Go Green" picnic for the kids. It was supposed to be how to save energy and be more organic (and all that crunchy granola stuff), but they served hot dogs and various horribly flavored soda. It was interesting. The kids had a blast.

It was windy (big shocker) and COLD!

Emily painting a shopping bag.

Savannah spent a long time painting her bird house. Every inch had to be covered.

Emily picked a kite from the prize box.

Savannah's finished product.

The girls' birdhouses in our front yard.
I guess that's about it. We are ready for Spring to hit North Texas. It's been really warm...sunny and 74 currently outside...tomorrow? 34 and snow.....I don't get it. Only 3 months and 27 days till we move to Virginia. I'm not the least bit excited, can you tell? ;) We've decided to put Emily in Christian school next year, so that's exciting. I'm looking forward to doing preschool with Savannah more regularly. She enjoys school so much!
God is good all the time, and we are just enjoying family time (the little time that we have) and counting the days. Enjoy the pics!
