Snow, Valentine's Day, and Mom

Quite a bit has been going on.....and nothing really has been going on. We seem to always be busy, but I can't for the life of me think of what we've done. We have enjoyed having my mom here more than we can express. I don't know how I would have done it all without her. Savannah has been a mommy's only girl. She only wants me to sit with her, me to hold her, me to sleep with her. I don't mind (at ALL), but it's been wonderful to have someone else to help take care of Emily's needs while Brian is at work. Savannah is healing...she is still running a low fever, and yesterday was the first day she ate a full meal. Nights are still long (or short, depending on how you look at it). We still have one week to go in isolation. Her post-op appointment is February 22.

We got around 8 inches of snow last week. It was SO pretty. It afforded Brian a day off of work, and all of us yummy snow cream. The girls loved it, even though we would allow Savannah to play in it.

The girls loved having Meme here for Valentines Day. She brings (lots of) presents, and they had so much fun opening them on Saturday (we celebrated a little early).

Here are some pics of our time together. My mom left yesterday after a bout with the stomach bug. Thankfully, with some good meds, she made it home without getting sick on the plane.




Savannah was quite content to watch Emily play in the snow and have her throw snowballs at her.
